NEW YORK (AP) — Roberta Flack, Grammy-winning singer known for 'Killing Me Softly With His Song' and other intimate hits, dies at 88.
it’s hard to know where anything in this country is going politically but i am 100% positive that dan bongino will accidentally shoot the gun at himself at least once

One nice thing about foraging compared to other hobbies is that no one spends $10,000 on stuff for it
We love merit, don’t we folks?
Scoop: As federal health agencies are gutted, Kyle Diamantas, a Florida attorney w/ a slim resume + no prior gov't experience, is the new head of food safety at @US_FDA. Turns out, he's Donald Trump Jr.'s hunting buddy, @vanityfair.com is reporting exclusively: www.vanityfair.com/news/story/f... /1

Mayor Adams shares lie that USAID is funding news sites (the government pays for subscriptions, just like the mayor) when I asked about resignations from high-ranking prosecutors in protest of request for his case to be dropped.
I asked for examples and he couldn't provide any.
This fact is not to be shared outside this room.

Need recs for some great (fairly linear) single player campaigns. Love Uncharted, Indiana Jones, God of War, DMC, Dishonored, Spiderman, Control, Horizon, Alan Wake, Stellar Blade, Dead Space, Space Marine 2. Looking for shooters, adventures, hack n slash, anything that isn't overly RPG.

Fountain-pen friends: I just got my first new fountain pen in years, and I love it! But I'm also remembering that using a fountain pen means having to adjust the paper/pads I use to account for different levels of ink absorption. Any advice on that process, or is it just a matter of trial and error?
I know it is small potatoes, but I have an order stuck in customs from AliExpress since February 8th. 🙄
Typically good thread/summary by Mark, showing again that first, most SCOTUS cases are not about the huge issues that get attention, and second, perhaps because of that, the Court sometimes divides in unexpected ways.
No new grants—but a lot of action—on the Supreme Court's orders list today.
First, Thomas renews his call to overturn the Feres doctrine, which bars servicemembers from suing the government over injuries "incidental" to their service. (I think he's right.)
