My acre is surrounded by 100’s of acres of crop land. In 20 years, I’ve planted 50 trees on this 1 acre, which is now an oasis of Nature in the farmland.
All of Ohio was rich, wooded forests only 250 years ago, now just a forgotten memory.
There have been no beavers in “Beaver Creek” ever since.
