Went into the rabbit hole a bit, this interesting paper: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4822466/#RSPB20160083C44 mentions how crows judge numerosities (i.e. the Weber-Fechner law) but between the lines, they say their judgements are very strong up to the number of 30. I'd probably do worse than that myself.
