This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

As long as the unit is there, I don't really care, because as you said the conversion is easy. I appreciate you putting the conversion on screen tho, because it doesn't interrupt my attention that way.
However, I do like to "complain" to my US friends because it's easy to tease them with it.
