This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

I would love to be able to get progress of an upload/download with the fetch API instead of having to resort to XMLHttpRequest. Some browsers have some support, but the overall support isn't good enough that we can use it.
