This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

To be fair. Back in the 2000's they didn't have the subscriptions so you could buy it and use it forever. And it was genuinely the best at what it did. But there's more competition with less toxic pricing now and they haven't kept up.
