This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Second, I agree that teachers' workloads ARE growing - because we're getting stuck with a lot of paperwork, tasks, etc. that nobody else wants to do. This is a flaw in the system. The solution is NOT to remove tasks that are central to teaching, but rather to reduce these extraneous tasks.
