This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Eat your own dogfood: my `.theme-switcher` here has `position; fixed` yet it is scrolling away as I scroll the sidebar.
With my extension, I quickly found out that it’s because the CB for the switcher is the sidebar element and not the viewport (because of a `backdrop-filter` on that sidebar)
