The Tor Project shipped Tails 7.8.1 as an emergency release. The Debian kernel jumps to 6.12.90-2 to patch CVE-2026-43503, which could let an app inside Tails escalate to admin, plus a Tor client bump to 0.4.9.9. Auto-upgrades work from 7.0 or later. Have you taken the update yet? #Tails
