Tails shipped an emergency 7.8.1 for CVE-2026-43503, a kernel flaw that could let an app inside Tails gain admin rights and, chained further, deanonymize the user. Kernel goes to 6.12.90-2, Tor to 0.4.9.9. The project says the threat needs a government attacker. Are you updating tonight?
