2024 was a record 1.60°C over the 1850-1900 IPCC pre-industrial baseline, using Copernicus data.
To be more precise, I got 1.598°C, so we'll have to wait and see whether Copernicus settles on 1.59°C or 1.60°C. Their official announcement will come out on Jan. 10, 2025.
