yeah, the DC Crime Cards backfill data so yesterday will always show less than what will eventually get reported and comparing anything to the current week is silly
for example, yesterday, 35 crimes were reported for 8/21, 15 reported for 8/20, 2 for 8/19, and 9 more even older than that
