This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

This reminds me of Houdini and the CSS paint API that let you put JS in CSS to do all sorts of amazing and/or terrible things.
I was super excited about it for a while. Chrome supports it, but it seems pretty dead now for better or worse.
