A question: was ACTION COMICS WEEKLY in 1988 available in newsstands, or direct sales only?
I bought the first two issues at the time, but the nearest comic shop would've been 80 miles away for me then. I probably couldn't have gotten in every week, and a pull list wouldn't have occurred to me.
