I wonder how much of the implicit/explicit pressure to keep this space agreeable is a projection of our own internal conflict and anxieties around being disagreeable. That’s partially what it felt like to me when smeone I invited in asked if they could trash talk & my knee-jerk reaction was, ehhhh.
