This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

thanks for writing this up! a few small notes:
- when you join, Discover is now the default one (but Following is still there and you can swap their order or remove either of them)
- we’ve been making tweaks to Discover for better granularity too, similar to the work described in the article
