Today in "damn judges really do be like that": Court sentences defendant to 172 months for a sex crime, 57 months for kidnapping (229 total). The Minnesota Court of Appeals vacates the kidnapping conviction. On remand, the judge re-sentences the sex crime to 229 months. COA says "come on"
