This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Of the 3 companies, I think Nintendo will be the best suited if they all eventually go software only. Every other platform will be begging for their games.
But that same attractiveness is why they could maintain a moat and force people to keep going through their own platform.
