This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Depends on the setup. If it's a laptop with dual gpu's then they tend to run into more issues.
On a desktop, it's not bad. I've been using Linux since 2007 or 08 with various nvidia cards, works fine.
Also not a fan of Linux Mint, I prefer distro's with Plasma/KDE (using CachyOS nowadays)
