It's not something I'd argue about though. I gave up on that once I abandoned my "Metal or GTFO!" phase.
Love what you love, is my mantra. And I ACK I'm an outlier. I suspect it's because it's the instruments rather than vocals that appeal to me more (although a bad vocalist can be a deal breaker)
