NEW: A voting rights group in Missouri has asked SCOTUS to reject the state GOP's request for it to greenlight a gerrymandered map that voters have not yet had a chance to weigh in on.
The Missouri Supreme Court ruled unanimously just last week against the GOP-gerrymandered map.
