We should be charging for these services. They're work. They're not considered when we make our contracts, but they absolutely should be. For a DAY of concept work I charge $400-$500 and I know thats LOW. Lets assume a freelancer has a 40 hour work week, and spends 35 hours on their graphic novel. I personally, have never been paid more than 50K USD for a book.
