Stay on 32.2. Most of the issues reported are crashes and have been showing up in the flatpak OBS, but I had the crash issue with the arch AUR install of obs-studio-tytan652. I am not sure about the ppa install for Ubuntu.04 Nov 2026 18:50 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mzizgkr2mc2khttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mywvw7qmcc2uPong anyone?!28 Oct 2026 13:59 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mywvw7qmcc2uhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mye5yew2rc2hToday was fun. Ran an update on my EndeavourOS. When it was completed I couldn't open OBS. Did some reinstalls, nada but OBS would open in Safe Mode. Ok, must be a plugin. Turned off all plugins in plugins manager. Restarted OBS. Opened in normal mode. 1 by 1 turned on plugins. 30min later...21 Oct 2026 03:03 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mye5yew2rc2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mwyb7u6yxc2aI love the movie, really enjoyed the series, now I'm listening to the audiobook. The audiobook is 47 hours long. 😵‍💫03 Oct 2026 16:03 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwyb7u6yxc2ahttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mttrnaxas22tAs I close in on my 70th birthday this year I have been thinking about my years growing up. In my grade school days I used to create my own dice sports games, particularly baseball ⚾, and play for hours. I wish I had kept some of what I created. Maybe only other boomers will remember this fondly.24 Aug 2026 16:58 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mttrnaxas22thttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mtr4mjnkjk2xI made another thing. I created a simple To Do List for the stream. You can add To Do's, delete To Do's and clear To Do List. You can have Mods, or selected users, add To Do's, too. Created using HTML Source plugin, HTML/CSS/JS, c# and StreamerBot.21 Aug 2026 14:30 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mtlxxfjm322dhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mt4zvvy3hs22I revel in making simple things for my stream. I started on creating a simple To Do list I can add to my stream. I am using Exeldro's HTML Source plugin and streamerbot. I know there are a few full function To Do/Task list creators but I don't need bells with the whistles .15 Aug 2026 15:55 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mt4zvvy3hs22https://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mpwg4ywwmk2fMy wife, son and I spent the 4th in Milwaukee for Summerfest, the largest music festival in the US. Best part, we got free admission, $33 ticket price per, by bringing canned goods for a food drive. I used SpotHero to find us parking for $20, fest parking is $40, just a 15 minute walk to the fest.05 Jul 2026 20:30 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mpwg4ywwmk2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mochg7gphs2tI tried a new AI today. It's out of Germany and it's called Schultz. I'm sure it's not ready for release. I queried several questions and it's reply for each was, "I know nothing!". Very strange.15 Jun 2026 04:34 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mochg7gphs2thttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mnx2nd6gbc23I finally made a video of my Studio setup: youtu.be/_4ZJJUIUKDM https://youtu.be/_4ZJJUIUKDM10 Jun 2026 15:46 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mnx2nd6gbc23https://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mnkof6w3q222Well, my Samsung S8 has bit the dust. The touch screen is dead. Time to look for a decent webcam. I look forward in seeing what you do with it in the future.17 Mar 2026 21:14 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mhbvcw4j2c2qhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mha23byefc2fI now have OBS voice activation on linux using Vosk and scripts. Proper voice commands with obs-cmd, along with proper OBS scene naming, is the key. All my scenes change with very little repetitive voice command. I'm using a wake word, computer, to help improve the voice commands.17 Mar 2026 03:34 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mha23byefc2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mh7yyxzb5k2fI found a SpeakerBot replacement for Linux, Speekaboo. It works with Pipper-tts. https://github.com/easyaspi314/Speekaboo/releases/tag/v0.2.017 Mar 2026 03:15 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mh7yyxzb5k2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mg3tmuyzmc2pI'm repurposing my old Galaxy S2 tab to be a deck for Streamerbot. The deck is a web page that you sign into and will remotely connect to your streamerbot. It has room for many many buttons. With it I will be able add more automation to my controls and supplement my TouchPortal on my Lenovo tab.02 Mar 2026 18:02 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mg3tmuyzmc2phttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mg3t3od76c2pI completed my start up and shutdown scripts. I can now start TouchPortal, Social Stream Ninja, YouTube Music (all AppImages), StreamerBot (Bottles), and the StreamerBot Chat Web page (Chrome WebApp) all at the tap of a desktop button. All the programs cleanly shut down at the tap of a button.02 Mar 2026 17:53 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mg3t3od76c2phttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mfrhbtbogs23In my 10 years on Linux I never had the need to create bash scripts. I've used them but never created them, until now. I've created bash scripts to run voice profile changes in EasyEffects to use with Streamer.bot and OBS. I am running the Gnome desktop on the desktop pc and my wife's laptop. The other 2 laptops are on the XFCE desktop. I had streamed on Endeavour early last year, so I am very familiar with it.01 Feb 2026 20:41 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mdt6xbh6cs2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3md4t5tktjk2aWell, the first big Windows 11 update of the year I installed 1/15 is causing issues on my system, need to uninstall update KB5074109. Then a big update on Pop Cosmic borked the system, no boot. Decided to move on from Pop, even though I really like the new desktop I find it's still not ready.23 Jan 2026 23:11 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3md4t5tktjk2ahttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mcpxixxm5k2mWaiting to see if @f15y.com shows up on Don Lemon Live while Don is in Minneapolis.18 Jan 2026 20:24 +0000at://did:plc:2ut4on5mjfq7gnu4khbaph63/app.bsky.feed.post/3mcpxixxm5k2mhttps://bsky.app/profile/stevesveryown.bsky.social/post/3mbxlnzr5jc2pThe RTX 4060 is in.
