Modern society is becoming much the same, you cannot tell the dangerous from the benign. We are in danger if we cannot figure it out.15 May 2025 01:42 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3lp6f62a24222https://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3lgp3qp3mls23Another painting. I think he is making a good description of how science and spirituality can come together through quantum physics. And maybe we are tracking towards a fusion of the two.30 Dec 2024 03:23 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3leilf7bc5k2mhttps://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3leba6utbvk2aI’m a dinosaur at 48, but for anthropological reasons I suggest everyone listen to “Nutshell” by Alice In Chains. It explains the existential angst of GenX and the seeds of what lead to our current mental health crisis.27 Dec 2024 05:14 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3leba6utbvk2ahttps://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3le6riw6x5c2fWhat if when you die all that happens is you take off a super sophisticated VR headset and your friends say “bro, how was the game?”26 Dec 2024 05:46 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3le6riw6x5c2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3le6q5huqmk2fI don’t really know what Bluesky is for politically but I’d really like to meet people here who are interested in spirituality and learning about the cosmos and new discoveries in quantum physics and things like that. This world has disappointed me beyond redemption.26 Dec 2024 05:22 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3le6q5huqmk2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3ldzjlu7ptk2rFor anyone who might be interested in binaural beats, I’ve discovered my favorite yet. Sacred Acoustics is heavily recommended by Eben Alexander the neuroscientist who had a detailed NDE and discovered binaural beats after as therapy.24 Dec 2024 03:41 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3ldzjlu7ptk2rhttps://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3ldhyhabd4k2hKnow how AI could make the world a better place? It’s a common roadside weed but is a commonly used wild edible by a lot of people. It has potato like roots. They are pretty good but hard to dig up. It’s gaining popularity but HemiSync from the Monroe institute is the original. It doesn’t replace meditation but is a bit of a cheat code to see what deep meditation can do but doesn’t last like meditation.03 Dec 2024 03:48 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3lceq6q4fzs2lhttps://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3lcdtzoopek2lI recently became a stepdad to two youngish boys. I also have a teenaged biological kid. Being a stepdad is about 10x harder than being a real dad. When you see someone that is an involved, active stepparent trying to be a good mom or dad for the kid, remember there are no accidental step kids.02 Dec 2024 19:24 +0000at://did:plc:2wwl3bbewf22xisstrtmwjju/app.bsky.feed.post/3lcdtzoopek2lhttps://bsky.app/profile/southerncrow.bsky.social/post/3lc2m37zkpk2hThere’s so much debate between religious people and atheists on the internet.
