I’ve been working to educate the American public about the ugly reality of the death penalty for over 40 years. His last words to the victims’ families, there to see him die, were, “I did not kill your son. I did not kill your daughter.” I was there in the killing chamber close to him, whispering prayers into his ear.01 Mar 2025 00:21 +0000at://did:plc:32w77htmdfqw7c57pyrrxyrv/app.bsky.feed.post/3ljbnnsayzc24https://bsky.app/profile/sisterhelen.org/post/3lizwhjtutc2m🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 WONDERFUL NEWS! This is indeed a good day to do the Lord's work. I'm thankful to so many religious leaders and justice advocates who helped make this possible.
