"Honeybadger" has too much personality! How about... "Scout"? "Oya" says too much about the character so what about... "TEMPER", YES! "Daken" is offensive so... "Fang" is cool right?13 Oct 2026 19:12 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mxrqguzuqc2ohttps://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mxrq65pkek2oThat's PAINFULLY generic. Awful decision, imo It's even more insult to injury since Betsy was Psylocke first. While I do understand Kannon (please Marvel JUST CHANGE THE SPELLING TO THIS!!!) is iconographically more import, but still, it's more branding than character motivated... Really brought home the themes of the series. Really bold reimagining of the Lantern mythos. A meditation on what means to be "chosen" instead of being the one who "chooses", and reinvention of what a Green Lantern could be outside of their cop image. So good.06 Oct 2026 20:52 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mxacr744ps2shttps://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mxacgweyg22sI don't know which proportion of the "Lanterns" finale was written by which showrunner, but it just slots very neatly inside of Tom King's body of work. Familiar themes at full display. The diner scene ("he might not deserve your grace, but he deserves peace.") speaks a lot about King's guilt, imo06 Oct 2026 20:47 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mxacgweyg22shttps://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mx5xffigs22dYeah, elections here in Brazil... not good. No story matter. Very Trumpian. Very Epstein Files. Nothing sticks, nothing matters. Disheartening.05 Oct 2026 22:24 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mx5xffigs22dhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mx5xaphyjs2dVery interesting. It explains a little why and how the second half of "Ultimate Spider-Man" felt so compressed. Tbh, I'm fine with it ending. It creates this very cool limited series of trades that someone can own, beginnig and ending. I do wish it was on the terms of the creatives, though [contains quote post or other embedded content]05 Oct 2026 22:21 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mx5xaphyjs2dhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mwybo6ffak2sPlaying the recently released "Muchi Muchi Pork!" port on Steam (oh glorious day!! Very interesting, given that the first one-shot not only had more hype, it was the beginning of his work with Kang, but also had what I'd say is an INFAMOUS dropped teaser24 Sep 2026 20:39 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwc4fq4ayk23https://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mwc2mnnvs223Little live me and my friend played here in our small town Exposing my face to the internet sometimes haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39ADuur_B7E24 Sep 2026 20:07 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwc2mnnvs223https://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mwbwugo2kc23No one does it like Rian. He always has a tight grasp on character and explores amazing angles But I feel like his current weakness is group books. Might be the editorial direction, whole back-to-the-90s thing, but I feel very underwhelmed by his "X-Men" and "Avengers" "DNX" began so lukewarm...22 Sep 2026 20:51 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mw545ozf322qhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mw53s5zglc2qI'm feeling bittersweet about the wonderful Wonder Woman run by Tom King and Daniel Sampere ending. On one side, I hoped for many more issues of goodness, but on the other, 3 years is a good while when you have one issue a month. It will be fascinating to reread it as a whole and dissect it22 Sep 2026 20:44 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mw53s5zglc2qhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpcomics.bsky.social/post/3mw4v3dag7k2qOk, so with #Tapas shutting down, which was the only place where my comics (not really "Web Comics" in format, very traditional comics) were stored... What are other alternatives so I can keep my comics online? Simply Web Toons? What's a good place for traditional comics? Maybe a custom site?22 Sep 2026 18:44 +0000at://did:plc:3og2m64fbisu34voidncn57z/app.bsky.feed.post/3mw4v3dag7k2q
