Many years ago, as an associate editor, I gave notes on the book sales catalog to the second-highest-ranking books salesperson at DC. I wanted to add Jim Fucking Lee’s bio to a book he’d drawn every page of. Note refused “booksellers only care about the authors.”
I almost had a stroke.
