If you see this and you work at #Apple, I'm on a 2019 i9 MacBook Pro with a 5500M and 64GB of RAM, with the latest version of Tahoe. Please fix the bug where Preview takes 30 seconds to save a file. It literally holds up my system with the spinning beach ball cursor.

So apparently there's a weird bug where, on a MacBook Neo (& possibly for other MacBooks w/ rounded corner displays) when you open an installed PWA (from either Safari or Chrome) and click near the very top of the screen, the cursor may briefly relocate to the bottom of the screen.

My favorite part of Apple Mail with plaintext mode on is how it displays links in my signature as if they’re rich text. But when I send the email, it expands them: example.com That way, I look like an idiot who forgot to correctly format his signature.

New build out including the "startup from" menu, as well as what I think is a fix for a bug I encountered an hour ago.

This menu is now fully implemented. You will be able to access it by holding down the "s" key as soon as the system starts up. The first option, "Install Diskette," is the same temporary volume created the first time you start LisaGUI (or if no other volumes are present). #appleLisa #js #apple

Wrote a reusable state machine component for use in various places throughout LisaGUI. Can you believe I haven't been using one? Boolean flags aren't your friends, kids. They invite the evil complexity demon into your house, and you don't want that guy walking around, knocking over your furniture

Added some UI feedback for trackpad mode. When you drag along the trackpad side of the screen, you get a larger circular cursor underneath your finger. When you press on the button side, a visible shadow appears. This feature is a work in progress and may be a bit buggy.
