Smelly chemicals in rideshares! When I sit in a stinky Uber or Lyft (multiple times per month) it can take 4-5 times through wash before stench of chemical sprays are out of my clothes. It's worse for others. Lawsuit claims over 1-in-4 adults have a chemical sensitivity. https://www.latimes.com/travel/story/2026-10-03/california-hotels-synthetic-fragrances-lawsuits04 Oct 2026 02:40 +0000at://did:plc:6oexpvmrh6pxfay73gheefhm/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwzeswnwcc2shttps://bsky.app/profile/adamrose.bsky.social/post/3mwokisvj722zI didn't learn em dashes from AI. AI learned em dashes from me! It's not just em dashes offering a false "tell." It's all sorts of classic writing techniques like negative parallelism. (See what I did there?) TBH, I'm so old I prefer double hyphens. They just get autocorrected to em dashes. https://www.poynter.org/reporting-editing/2026/ai-changing-human-writing-editors-em-dash29 Sep 2026 19:23 +0000at://did:plc:6oexpvmrh6pxfay73gheefhm/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwokisvj722zhttps://bsky.app/profile/adamrose.bsky.social/post/3mwmnbzasec2zOK, now hear me out ... https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx7v4glz50elo29 Sep 2026 01:07 +0000at://did:plc:6oexpvmrh6pxfay73gheefhm/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwmnbzasec2zhttps://bsky.app/profile/adamrose.bsky.social/post/3mwlzs6zj322eCome say hi! Ellisons know a scary amount about you via Oracle. (Ever wonder, "what's their actual product"? It's YOU / your data!) By taking over mass media, they can give America false fears, causing us to give up even more of our data & privacy. https://theintercept.com/2026/09/23/paramount-warner-bros-merger-ellisons-surveillance/27 Sep 2026 18:58 +0000at://did:plc:6oexpvmrh6pxfay73gheefhm/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwji73jd6k2phttps://bsky.app/profile/adamrose.bsky.social/post/3mwchhgzcjc2uHahaha. Best thing on the internet today. Some adults still think they can trade away everyone else's rights in some pointless effort to keep kids off the internet. Not only will kids win in the long run, they'll humble adults in the funniest ways to do it. @npr.org out here catching strays. 😭😭😭 [contains quote post or other embedded content]24 Sep 2026 23:56 +0000at://did:plc:6oexpvmrh6pxfay73gheefhm/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwchhgzcjc2uhttps://bsky.app/profile/adamrose.bsky.social/post/3mwc2otripk2c"News is something that they don't want you to print, and all the rest is public relations." 🎯🎯🎯 Perfectly said, thank you @johncusack.bsky.social!!!
