OTD #1632 Spinoza was born in #Amsterdam - Bento/Baruch studied at Ets Haim. After the ban, his name was scratched out in the books of Ets Haim, but is still recognizable: "Baruch Espinosa f[ilh]o de Michael Espinosa"; 2nd image: #Spinoza signs a notarial deed for himself and his brother, 1655.
