tried the new Vulkan minecraft, runs about the same except when not rendering much, then it's better (not that the extra 800 fps means much when you're at 1500 fps) but also vanilla Minecraft makes my GPU coil whine depending on the framerate and it sounds dangerous like it's hurting the card...
