In my continued exploration of soufflé omelettes, pizza edition was not the best success. The toppings are too heavy and don’t warm up fast enough to meld well with the omelette. I think I’d make a pizza omelette without the soufflé aspect if I try it again.

I have done my due diligence and reached out to two groups in my area to spread the word about open admin positions for a local group I currently help host. I shall now talk to no one else for the rest of the day. >.<

Possibly spicy take: Recordings/extended access of BDSM/kink classes are a privilege. It takes considerable faith for presenters, hosts, and moderators to put out recorded content and not to have their privacy infringed upon or content stolen and re-packaged as a result. (1/2)

I realized I like listening to girly pop empowerment songs not because I relate to the singers, but because I relate to the boys they’re singing about. Current flavor: Expectations Remix https://youtu.be/SmzLX_weRMc?is=nCMWnfIL8M4-uKTu

Life as a conference producer is doing it scared, doing it disheartened, or doing it unsure as much as it is doing it with confidence. It’s far more preferable to listen, learn, and grow regardless of the feelings along with it than remaining stagnant and unwilling to change.

In the context of community service/community events, where is your line between accessibility and entitlement?

I’m still reflecting on the powerful words shared by Master David and brynn in their Closing Keynote for @serviceorientedcon.bsky.social. “Service is beautiful. Service is powerful. Service is transformative. But service is not free.” https://fetlife.com/Master__David/posts/14611254 https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1e8n1jCJfw/

Paying presenters for education does something similar to me as making finsub contributions. I enjoy giving people what they rightfully deserve.
