LGR kind of touched upon it during his post-VCF video. For me it's mostly all the things I've started but haven't finished and may never.30 Sep 2026 10:17 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwq4idjnqk2ahttps://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3mwpb6wmm422aCompleted Syndicate. Pretty funny. Also, the names of the agents that you can recruit into your syndicate are the surnames of the staff. I also noticed some of the missions have famous coder names like Cauldwell. I'm playing it properly for the first time because I generally hate strategy games. Loving it. It has its issues but most can be circumnavigated. Gonna write something up for my blog.28 Sep 2026 15:14 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwlm4rbbx225https://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3mwbh5bi6ak26I have actually spent many, many hours playing this game and hardly any playing the first two. Now they've changed things so the links are broken.15 Sep 2026 08:55 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mvkauwqi2s2fhttps://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3mvfql7n6fc2s1/ Watching the Digital Foundry review of the new GTA VI gameplay trailer and honestly I couldn't give a shit about most of what they're saying. Maybe it's because I've never had current hardware, PC or console. Maybe it's because I grew up with DOS games, or because I expect variable performance.13 Sep 2026 13:52 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mvfql7n6fc2shttps://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3mv4ncnxpvk23Just watched the remastered @kimjustice.bsky.social Complete Story of GTA I to V and realised two things: 1) I've only completed the OG, the PSP releases and V. 2) aside from the first game, I've never had a PC that was capable of playing any major release when it came out. youtu.be/kOT2ytyAau4 https://youtu.be/kOT2ytyAau4?is=XN2OKsdqkY2kKhI609 Sep 2026 23:00 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mv4ncnxpvk23https://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3mukbu4ggpc25For the uninitiated, X-Wing Alliance took everything that was great about its predecessors and excelled at them all. Tricky and engrossing single-player story mode, multiplayer, and a finely-tuned in-flight control system. It also allows you to pilot ships like the Millennium Falcon. It's upside down. 2. The 'clever' design that means you can tidily wrap the lead around the adaptor for neat storage means any double socket it's plugged into becomes a single socket. Faux pas.02 Sep 2026 15:44 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mukbohxqo225https://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3muijc7ealc2uDuring lockdown in 2020 I discovered the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade and got quite far into the game. Recently I went back to it but had lost my progress so had to start again. There is a new upgrade for 2025, however, which I can now enjoy fully! The PS3 controller over Bluetooth is great for this.01 Sep 2026 22:55 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3muijc7ealc2uhttps://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3muhvgrd7qs2jThank you whichever lovely soul added me to the Vintage Computing Good Eggs list - I've already had some new followers! So when Duke Nukem 3D appeared and it ran brilliantly on my 486, I was very happy indeed. Quake may have been superior technologically, but Duke 3D was the better game for multiple reasons. Can't believe both are 30 years old.19 Jul 2026 01:34 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mqxn74y7kk2whttps://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3mquntmzygs2wCompleted Portal for the first time. 😅17 Jul 2026 21:07 +0000at://did:plc:chlws64s3stuoh646ncvevsu/app.bsky.feed.post/3mquntmzygs2whttps://bsky.app/profile/brassicgamer.bsky.social/post/3movjo6jtkc2rMost importantly, it was released *1 day* before Mario 64.
