This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

I'm still not sure I understand the benefits.
Is it that the WHERE commands are so intuitive in SQL? I could do a similar query very easily in dplyr.
Is it the size of the data? I could use feather in R or just work on the cluster.
