Mum, wife, gamer, employee and tech geek. Love board games, Pathfinder and cross stitch. Juggling raising a family, working full time, studying for a degree, volunteering at my local cat rescue and trying to live more sustainably. She's only in year 12 so we're not making the decisions for another year, but I'm hoping that seeing what her next step could be will inspire her for her A Level study.24 Nov 2024 09:20 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3lbookjybac2uhttps://bsky.app/profile/rutharnold.bsky.social/post/3l2sbjtiwie2xCelebrating submitting the first two assessments for my degree today. Not sure how good they are, but know I will learn a lot from the feedback, and it’s all part of the journey :)28 Aug 2024 17:41 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3l2sbjtiwie2xhttps://bsky.app/profile/rutharnold.bsky.social/post/3l2opf6js7a2xI’ve been taking full advantage of my employer’s summer working policy to work from home for the last 6 weeks. But now it’s back to mandatory two days per week in the office. Not looking forward to the extra commuting time.27 Aug 2024 07:39 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3l2opf6js7a2xhttps://bsky.app/profile/rutharnold.bsky.social/post/3kdn4qzjgh425What a privilege this evening to get to listen to a world champion brass band rehearse before their next big competition :)07 Nov 2023 23:53 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3kdn4qzjgh425https://bsky.app/profile/rutharnold.bsky.social/post/3kdizdcbbfy2xWhew - just made it! It’s all getting remarkably real. Tips for keeping a teenager sane through this very busy period of their life? I’m thinking lots of treats and reminders to take time out.19 Oct 2023 17:57 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3kc4pyuqn7g2rhttps://bsky.app/profile/rutharnold.bsky.social/post/3kbzj6i4mar2wHad my first attempt at GM-ing the Pathfinder 2e Beginner Box last night. My players made it almost to the end of the first floor - we paused just as they were about to enter the last room. I think my players had fun and I enjoyed it rather more than I expected. Looking forward to our next session!18 Oct 2023 11:17 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3kbzj6i4mar2whttps://bsky.app/profile/rutharnold.bsky.social/post/3kbndb7snme2bJust in case there are any board gamers local to Crewe over here - this will be a great event :)13 Oct 2023 14:59 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3kbndb7snme2bhttps://bsky.app/profile/rutharnold.bsky.social/post/3kbhsmeixf72gWondering if I can get the hang of another new social media platform!11 Oct 2023 10:18 +0000at://did:plc:edykyndo7y3aupulmbxbmpvx/app.bsky.feed.post/3kbhsmeixf72g
