I have a quote here on AB 1775 helping prevent another Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell tragedy www.ebar.com/story/170660 https://www.ebar.com/story/17066028 Sep 2026 04:35 +0000at://did:plc:f45ei4xp6op4w66fww4o2arf/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwkigik3pk27https://bsky.app/profile/katherineakoe.bsky.social/post/3mukkig4o7k2xMy article on the transgender military ban and the work happening is California to fight back went out in the Bay Area Reporter! It’s my first published piece so it’s pretty surreal to see myself in a paper. https://www.ebar.com/story/169841/Opinion/Guest%20Opinion/Guest%20Opinion%3A%20As%20the%20transgender%20military%20ban%20takes%20its%20toll%2C%20California%20steps%20up02 Sep 2026 18:22 +0000at://did:plc:f45ei4xp6op4w66fww4o2arf/app.bsky.feed.post/3mukkig4o7k2xhttps://bsky.app/profile/katherineakoe.bsky.social/post/3mtol7bktlc2kDid a photoshoot as part of exploring running for office and I’m really happy with how they came out! It’s my first time doing something like this, cool getting friends together, and I finally have photos in uniform I’m happy with!22 Aug 2026 15:20 +0000at://did:plc:f45ei4xp6op4w66fww4o2arf/app.bsky.feed.post/3mtol7bktlc2khttps://bsky.app/profile/katherineakoe.bsky.social/post/3mstad4fazc2cI watched #TheInvite this weekend and in addition to being the best acting I’ve seen this year it was set in San Francisco! So of course lack of housing supply and mobility drives the plot #LegalizeHousing11 Aug 2026 18:23 +0000at://did:plc:f45ei4xp6op4w66fww4o2arf/app.bsky.feed.post/3mstad4fazc2chttps://bsky.app/profile/katherineakoe.bsky.social/post/3mqs5aoi45k2jI attended the LGBTQ Victory Fund’s political candidate training last weekend! Met some amazing people, learned a lot, and might even be running for office soon!16 Jul 2026 21:05 +0000at://did:plc:f45ei4xp6op4w66fww4o2arf/app.bsky.feed.post/3mqs5aoi45k2jhttps://bsky.app/profile/katherineakoe.bsky.social/post/3mpowkngkas2zI had the opportunity to speak before the State Senate recently in support of AB 1775, a bill to assist transgender service members. I was privileged to speak for everyone suffering under the current ban. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaTCZAJz6KJ/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==02 Jul 2026 21:02 +0000at://did:plc:f45ei4xp6op4w66fww4o2arf/app.bsky.feed.post/3mpowkngkas2zhttps://bsky.app/profile/katherineakoe.bsky.social/post/3mph5we7tlf22I attended trans march and saw this happen, it’s awful and is against what the event stands for. Genocide needs to end and human rights must be upheld; all this does is hurt the cause of trans rights. The Trans March organizers should ban Dimitry from future events for harassment https://x.com/decadimitry/status/2070677434845077698?s=4629 Jun 2026 18:53 +0000at://did:plc:f45ei4xp6op4w66fww4o2arf/app.bsky.feed.post/3mph5we7tlf22
