Leafs fan 🇨🇦🇱🇧https://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.socialhttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lqbi5u322c2uI’d be okay with Toronto taking on his full cap hit if it means the Flames trade Kadri back to the Leafs. And don’t bother with your rational takes on why it’s a bad idea. I simply don’t care about the red flags. I miss having players who give a damn.29 May 2025 00:39 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lqbi5u322c2uhttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lp3lt6cmvk2oWhatever happens this postseason, the best thing we’ve got going is Matthew Knies coming into his own. At 22, he’s already showing he’s a playoff performer. Some guys just get it. They know how to ramp up their game.13 May 2025 23:03 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lp3lt6cmvk2ohttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3loqzcbtxpk2aThe way Tanev competes, defends, and sacrifices his body is impressive. He also brings something I didn’t realize we needed so badly: a grown-up in the room. If the Leafs were an orchestra, Tanev’s the drummer, holding it all together.09 May 2025 18:05 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3loqzcbtxpk2ahttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lnaptx25gk2pHe is risen! Wishing you all a joyful Easter filled with hope and love. And Happy Leafs Playoff Day.20 Apr 2025 13:08 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lnaptx25gk2phttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lmvkofo7pk2lMatthews should be super motivated to flip his playoff narrative. He’s had some solid postseason moments, but has yet to dominate a series. As captain and best player on the team, his energy drives the group. It’d be awesome to see him deliver something special.16 Apr 2025 02:36 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lmvkofo7pk2lhttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lmvhiioewc2wI’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Toronto’s scariest playoff opponent is Toronto. If the stars play to their abilities and ramp up the intensity, they should beat Ottawa. That said, it won’t be easy to take down the Senators.16 Apr 2025 01:39 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lmvhiioewc2whttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lkgnvtdv5s26If you’re afraid to make a mistake, you shouldn’t be in a management position. For the most part, Shanahan has flown under the radar, but his unwillingness to pivot despite nearly a decade of failure is baffling.15 Mar 2025 17:34 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lkgnvtdv5s26https://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lkehcq4qbc2dDubas thought 4 expensive, skilled, finesse players would drive playoff success. But our stars consistently fall short when it matters. I’m team break up the core, but letting Mitch go won’t magically change how Auston and Willy play the game. I’m not sure what the solution is.14 Mar 2025 20:31 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lkehcq4qbc2dhttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3ljll5juf7226Never 5104 Mar 2025 23:03 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3ljll5juf7226https://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3ljekhnhhvc27I want the Leafs to make a move but I’m terrified they will overpay for intangables. I don’t trust Shanny and Treliving to get it right.02 Mar 2025 04:02 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3ljekhnhhvc27https://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lig6whcepk2eMatthews, Marner and Nylander are incredibly skilled players but they lack that killer instinct/do ANYTHING to win gene. I love my Leafs but we gotta keep it real. The Core Four needs to be broken up. And no, this isn’t a knee-jerk reaction to their play in this tournament.18 Feb 2025 02:16 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lig6whcepk2ehttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lh5otbmtdk2r🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦01 Feb 2025 23:41 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lh5otbmtdk2rhttps://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lggtbm4gpk22I’d give up a first rounder and Minten for Kadri (50% retained). #SorryNotSorry23 Jan 2025 21:29 +0000at://did:plc:f7g6bhjdtr6n2f5ucamfxdf7/app.bsky.feed.post/3lggtbm4gpk22https://bsky.app/profile/mariezo.bsky.social/post/3lg2so3qpkk2iBeing a Leafs fan is like riding a never ending roller coaster! I’m afraid of the Leafs doing very Leafy things. AKA self-destructing. Yes, I still have trust issues with this group.
