There's quite a bit here, but first up is culture, policy and participatory funds have gone. Not clear if the funding is being shifted back into mainstream QR. Just no.01 Nov 2026 16:53 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3mzbbk4n3e22thttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3mz6sswmeks2iFife really is an amazing places to walk and to live.31 Oct 2026 17:25 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3mz6sswmeks2ihttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3myxolejb7k26Was very confused as to why there were so many parents and children in Edinburgh today. Made sense when I heard their English accents and twigged it's now half term across the border.28 Oct 2026 21:20 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3myxolejb7k26https://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3mytz4vg2rc2yExcellent. So the ScotRail process for claiming a payment delay requires a download of the barcode. Except the ScotRail app blocks you taking a screenshot of the m-ticket barcode. Anyone found a way round this?27 Oct 2026 10:18 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3mytz4vg2rc2yhttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3myttmige2s2eFirst for me this morning. Train delayed because the Tay Rail Bridge was shut due to high winds. Thankfully, only temporary but we are on the third storm of the year.27 Oct 2026 08:40 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3myttmige2s2ehttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3mytre5asr22cThis is very obvious and really important but worth noting Unis don't get paid for this sort of work and (points to the current bin fire that is HE funding). If government is serious about this, it's going to have to put some funding support in place, otherwise there won't be a uni to engage with. I have had double breakfast to weigh me down as I need to head outside this morning. 😁25 Oct 2026 09:23 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3myov3lcyhc26https://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3mymmd5q63s2hAm I regretting not buying the extra long raincoat that would have gone down to my knees on the grounds it was excessively long and I would have looked like a caterpillar? Yes, deep regret.24 Oct 2026 11:41 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3mymmd5q63s2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3myk3kuyxsk2yI've just found out that the phrase 'just desert', is indeed spelt as 'desert' not 'dessert', even though it is pronounced dessert. But no, it's my fault I can't spell, not the stupid random spelling language that is English.23 Oct 2026 11:35 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3myk3kuyxsk2yhttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3myjwdabfl22xI was introduced to a new phrase this week 'devo desert'. Areas in the country that don't have mayoral authorities and hence there is no authority to devolve to. An interesting issue to watch in how devolution pans out. (Though for those of us in Scotland, could you have not called it devolution!)23 Oct 2026 10:02 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3myjwdabfl22xhttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3myhc3v7mjc2rHere is this morning's mad idea. Given the number of remakes TV and film are doing, we should be allowed to vote for which ones we'd like back. But only those that allow us to keep various cultural references. For me, I want Going for Gold back, purely for the jokes around TEF.22 Oct 2026 08:54 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3myhc3v7mjc2rhttps://bsky.app/profile/annamgrey.bsky.social/post/3myeupdpges2mOn deliveries arriving on the day I'd arranged for them to arrive I'm currently 0/2. Neither the fault of the supplier but the courier. Problem for both companies is that I'm less willing to use either of them again and for one of them their whole business is on-line delivery.21 Oct 2026 09:49 +0000at://did:plc:gitfigtexklvwfwp7p3nnd35/app.bsky.feed.post/3myeupdpges2m
