Finally got me an M4 MacMini, and sweet jesus the power…! VCV patches that had i7 MB Pro & Xeon trash can pinned at full load with fans squealing prance along on the M4 at ~20-30%. Also, buffer size dropped from 256 to 32 with not so much as a blip. These things are RIDICULOUS. #vcvrack

Lots to be said for end-to-end analog - the K2 with a lovely clicky externally keyed (by RD6 hi tom) Drawmer DS404 gate on top of an inserted ducking comp on the channel, thru a Drawmer DL241 comp on the master. That and the fact I owned ‘em long before going anywhere near a synth. #synthsky
