Barely 2000 words, got it from to idea to page that night. I read it to my wife. She looks at me. "I don't think it says what you think it says." She explains. Oh god. Into the bin. Well, it was only a couple of hours. #amwriting17 Aug 2026 00:04 +0000at://did:plc:gql4phystvwesnz2tcyaf7db/app.bsky.feed.post/3mtafojq4js2yhttps://bsky.app/profile/ohkabaka.bsky.social/post/3molyemv4hk2pCurious question I wish I could ask 1000 readers and get a straight answer: "Would you actually notice the difference between 'the rock she was hiding behind' or 'the rock she hid behind' if you read it in a sentence."18 Jun 2026 23:32 +0000at://did:plc:gql4phystvwesnz2tcyaf7db/app.bsky.feed.post/3molyemv4hk2phttps://bsky.app/profile/ohkabaka.bsky.social/post/3mnqbme2luk2kAs an amateur philologist... or even just guy who loves words and language, multiple languages appear in all of my longer stories, and even some of the short ones...
