I know this is not important at all, but I really really really really really hate when people use the word "broken" to describe what is just a good play in a game. Alas, I fear I can't stem the tide and "a good play" is what "broken" now means in gaming contexts.

It should be basic journalistic practice to, when referring to a primary source, hyperlink, if possible, that primary source. I'm sick of reading "Bob said on today's show..." only to click on the link to get a random, semi-related article instead of the show itself!

I've been playing quite a bit of 7 Wonders Architect on BGA and the more I play the more I appreciate its design. It can't be an easy job to take a beloved design and simplify it while retaining many of the strategic elements of the original. (1/x)

Informed consent is incredibly important in medicine, but at a certain point you can require so much consent that it creates less consent. I just signed 17 forms, which were required to schedule an intake meeting to see if I could get a medical appointment. They totaled to 8292 words.

I've actually got some plays in recently, which has been fun. Learned Imperium: Legends, which was a lot, especially since I was sick. I think it's going to either be a bust or get quite good after a few plays, but probably nothing in between.

Tomas Alfredson's film resume is wild. He makes two of the best movies of the 21st century, follows them up with a movie that received some of the most vicious critical panning I've ever seen, and hasn't made anything in the English language since.

Share your opinions that make you sound like an insane person. Mine: one of the greatest film shots of the 21st century is in Villeneuve's Prisoners and it's of a tree trunk. To explain further would take quite a while, but trust me it's menacing and terrifying and perfect.
