NCAA has dropped their ban on Canadian major junior players, beginning next year.
Previously any player who appeared in even a CHL exhibition game had been deemed "professional" by the NCAA and were prevented from playing collegiate hockey.
Now NCAA is essentially saying everyone is allowed in.
