After moving Dungeon Delve to Beehiiv, I’ve found it hard to motivate due to lack of community outreach. It was only fun with an audience beyond just numbers; when I was providing an ecosystem helpful things rather than putting out product. … Honestly, I am in a rut. Something needs to change.

As a creator, I've spent entirely to much of my effort on solo endeavors. They're not nearly as fulfilling as group or community projects, because that social engagement and attention sharing is so much more fruitful!

Boy! I've been out of flow over this past month. I succeeded at submitting to a couple ttrpg jams this past month, but I have so much work in the backlog that I feel honestly overwhelmed. ... My only silver lining is that the deaths of Dolly Parton and Tim Curry allow us to pause and remember how absolutely influential they were, and how we are all better people because of them. It's hard to put into words how much their works meant to those struggling with identity.

Feel like ranting today ... As a kid, I remember being so inspired by pulp fantasy novels that I wanted to write my own someday. Started some WIPs over the years. However, now 39, I've come to the conclusion that writing as a stand-alone art isnt enough anymore. (1/5)
