When he was still Shadow Chancellor, in about 2006, I saw George Osborne on the platform of Cannon Street tube station. As the train arrived, I shouted “cunt” quite loudly and then hopped on to the train. I think I upset him and am therefore to blame for the years of austerity that followed.
