Until now the only options were Skia or OpenGL shaders that re-blur every frame on the JS/GPU side , they have huge perf hit on lists and carousels. The terms OpenAI proposed allows the Pentagon to still do those things, just not on OpenAI’s cloud. OpenAI still provides the models and know-how. It just runs on Pentagon servers.
