My wife (who has a masters in technical writing) was asked today by an interviewer if she knew what technical writing was and then was asked to describe what a technical writer does. I do not think this person should be a hiring manager.

My wife just submitted a dissertation for her Masters. She's done!

My dumb dog who is adorable and stupid tore his cruciate ligament on what was his good leg, so he's going to need surgery again 6 months after he had the exact same surgery

Celebrating 8 years of marriage today, thankful for my wonderful wife who made those 8 years (and the ones prior to becoming legally bound) the best of my life. <3

Suffering from ADHD burnout right now. I'm productive during my days at work but I'm depressed, exhausted and feel constantly frustrated. I wish it was easier to recover, it's exhausting trying to unexhaust

The #riftbound bans are pretty crazy, didn't expect that much from a first ban wave but I also didn't expect the game to be balanced on first try. Didn't impact me luckily (I play Renata, God help me if they ever ban a card in this F-tier pile). Very excited to play the skirmish this weekend though!

I had an hour drive this morning and it gave me time to think, and in that time I think I figured out how to solve a piece of code in my game. I was stuck for a while on some math/geometry issue but maybe I've solved it. We'll see when I get home and try to implement it

Caught up on the #2xko top 8 from Genesis X3 and it was actually very cool. The game is so close to being incredible, like one or two patches a handful of characters and I think it will be one of the best fighting games around

In cool news for my game my wife is drawing me a logo and so far the examples are cute, excited to see what she comes up with :)

Played #spiritforged #riftbound Prerelease and I'll be honest, not a fan of the gameplay. Maybe it was just because I had Renata as my legend, but I played Irelia 3 rounds in a row and it was pretty tedious. Just build big unit, haste it in, repeat. Even worse if it had ganking from the boots

Every time I have to watch a cutscene in #TFT so I can leave the game I close the game and I'm done for the day. There is no better design choice they could make that would cause me to swear off spending money. Literally designed to be an annoying time waste. Thank you @riotgames.com

Since my last update, I have created placeholders for every beast in the game since there's a finite number. I added leveling and spending stat points on level up with experience being generated by enemies being knocked out #indiedev #gamedev

I finished my first sprint on my game and just started the new one. That's one month down, many more to go. One change I'm making now is investing in making hacknplan more usable for me and getting my wife involved on the art side. Hacknplan is now integrated with discord and git for better tracking

New #2xko patch is great. It had the only change I cared about which was time winder nerfed. Played against a lot of ekko yasuo with braum and it felt difficult but okay. Thank you @riotgames.com https://media.tenor.com/B-oY6sNXVAkAAAAC/blitzcrank.gif?hh=278&ww=498
