It is actually really good!29 Jul 2026 18:34 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3mrskva4tcs2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3mr4ehz5rbs2vRebuilt my site with Fable 5 over the last few weeks. It’s crazy how good Claude’s gotten over the last year. I made a living page that goes into how the site works. I am trying to make it as non-dev friendly as possible. #webdev #buildinpublic #astro #claude https://jpshlk.com/how-this-site-works/20 Jul 2026 22:41 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3mr4ehz5rbs2vhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3ln45dh22wc2hIf you're a fan of The Wheel Of Time and don't have the eBooks check out this Humble Bundle! I have a custom GPT I made to help me turn CSV files from our Amazon sales data into a better format with totals for ASINs and trimming titles. So far so good! Not quite webdev, but it’s .tsx so…? #webdev #buildinpublic17 Apr 2025 01:48 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3lmxyglz3422jhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3lmcpy7al722eBy far the best xkcd I've seen. A few new features, many of which were requests by people on /r/shortcuts and the Shortcuts Discord server. It now supports: ✅ Custom Images ✅ Multiple Menu Options ✅ An easter egg for today... And more to come soon! #webdev #buildinpublic https://shortcut-menus.jpshlk.com01 Apr 2025 14:56 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3llr4y73ouc2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3llihqv67x222I got multiple menu options working in my web app for iOS Shortcut VCARD menus! I’m going to do some more testing before releasing though. I had to refactor a 450+ line typescript file into 10+ other components so I want to make sure it’s working. #webdev #buildinpublic https://img.jpshlk.com/FB9wvmgBQLJTfMKzTfb229 Mar 2025 04:14 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3llihqv67x222https://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3llb7nw3fyk2hWow, Mobile Safari is really giving me a tough time with the clipboard api. I might have to call it a night and try to fix this tomorrow... I’ll also add links to download starter Shortcuts to copy the results into. If anyone is interested in testing let me know. #Shortcuts [contains quote post or other embedded content]26 Mar 2025 04:09 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3llaw27jf522shttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3llatdvmxck2hNew project I'm working on to take a break from other side projects. A menu builder web app for iOS Shortcuts! It should help make the process of creating VCARD menus a lot easier. Using Lucide icons, but will add more in the future. Building it with Astro and Tailwind. #webdev #buildinpublic26 Mar 2025 03:21 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3llatdvmxck2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3lkwduo6tp22yToday when I tried running `npm run dev` Astro couldn’t spin up a local server because some module wasn’t found… Ended up needing to delete all my node packages, clear the cache, and reinstall. Thing is, I have no idea why this happened. I didn’t make any changes.21 Mar 2025 23:17 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3lkwduo6tp22yhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3lkrwhur3222b@astro.build any idea when the Astro hats will be back in stock?20 Mar 2025 05:07 +0000at://did:plc:ll4f6dxeawoxi6pg3kr25pbj/app.bsky.feed.post/3lkrwhur3222bhttps://bsky.app/profile/jpshlk.com/post/3lkruvsw5v22b@codinginpublic.dev I just found your YouTube channel. I’m loving all your Astro content! I’m going to see if I can expense your course through work, but if not I’ll likely buy it myself soon. But today I learned that HARD... Now I just need to double down and ACTUALLY learn git... For some reason trying to add different og-image based on the page is harder than it should be. Something about getting the hash that Astro uses for images...
