I usually prefer scenes without man-made objects but I sort of like the fence line in this one. #owls #birds #photography30 Oct 2026 16:16 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mz46jhnih222https://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3myspub5mys2pMy wife spotted this ural owl when driving to work this morning, and called me. Fortunately it was still there when I got there. 🤩 It was gloomy and rainy but still made for a very nice observation and a few shots that turned out well. #birds #owls #photography26 Oct 2026 22:00 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3myspub5mys2phttps://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3mypnkq624k2eWorking on some music tech projects again 🙂 There's a much bigger OMR project going on behind the scenes, but this player is useful both there and for a few other places, so had it assembled and published in a first shape 🙂 https://jimmyutterstrom.com/blog/2026/10/25/segno-player/25 Oct 2026 16:41 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mypnkq624k2ehttps://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3mviwrwo4rk2uDunlin after sunset, photo from this evening. I'll be missing the bright summer nights, there's still some sunlight left after work, but soon that luxury will be gone for a number of months #birds #photography #birding14 Sep 2026 20:22 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mviwrwo4rk2uhttps://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3mu4n56mqvk2vI was lucky to find this bluethroat when I was out for a short session recently. It's primarily in the late summer I have a decent chance of seeing them here, as they pass by from having spent summer further northwest in the mountain area. #photography #birds #birding28 Aug 2026 05:32 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mu4n56mqvk2vhttps://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3mpvbmq4rv222The last half a year I've noticed a huge increase in AI generated event posters / flyers. Most look okayish, apart from the odd kerning and occasional GenAI spelling mistake for Swedish copy. Some have Gemini watermarks left in for the final version. And most look exactly the same by now.05 Jul 2026 09:36 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mpvbmq4rv222https://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3mkvcji4f5k2j🦊 When this guy was first observed by my parents in the winter it had a bad injury to one of its legs. It was after that given some extra food now and then that was put out for it. Now it's only limping a bit, and probably doesn't have any problem with hunting its own food 🙂 #photography #fox02 May 2026 18:46 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mkvcji4f5k2jhttps://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3mkss3etwds2bGot a couple of nice common kestrel captures today, here right after takeoff 🙂 #birds #kestrel #photography01 May 2026 18:47 +0000at://did:plc:muvjnv5o7pxsgzd26gk5btvs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mkss3etwds2bhttps://bsky.app/profile/jimmyutterstrom.com/post/3mhw5f3sgjc2sThanks for the feature @dev.to!
