Saves a lot of space and makes my setup very portable. This is cool technology that enhances flight safety - not sure the almost $5,000 USD price tag is justified - but in aviation everything is […] [Original post on noc.social]21 Jul 2026 12:28 +0000at://did:plc:ney7ec4f2c4cdsehaiz3n4xg/app.bsky.feed.post/3mr5sp4mkjyf2https://bsky.app/profile/techviator.noc.social.ap.brid.gy/post/3monn25djpm32I haven't been excited about any XR device for some time... until now! As a former avid VR user for work that moved to Xreal "AR" display glasses about a year ago, I am excited to see the combination of Android XR with display glasses. Xreal Aura seems very […] [Original post on noc.social]19 Jun 2026 15:14 +0000at://did:plc:ney7ec4f2c4cdsehaiz3n4xg/app.bsky.feed.post/3monn25djpm32https://bsky.app/profile/techviator.noc.social.ap.brid.gy/post/3m6a7uot3x3z2My little toy, Zenith Zodiac 601XL. 😍 #airplane #avgeek22 Nov 2025 16:31 +0000at://did:plc:ney7ec4f2c4cdsehaiz3n4xg/app.bsky.feed.post/3m6a7uot3x3z2https://bsky.app/profile/techviator.noc.social.ap.brid.gy/post/3m42modht2iu2Finally was able to successfully migrate about half of my Docker containers to Podman on Debian. Going back to docker in my homelab for now while I learn more about this. I am too used to docker on debian, moving to podman on rocky proved to be a huge challenge. I will start podman on debian, and then move on to rocky […] https://noc.social/@techviator/11532354811765444305 Oct 2025 20:54 +0000at://did:plc:ney7ec4f2c4cdsehaiz3n4xg/app.bsky.feed.post/3m2hyub4kqxx2https://bsky.app/profile/techviator.noc.social.ap.brid.gy/post/3lz5nqb2i3m42To be honest I am more interested in the Meta Wristband controller than in the glasses. I mean, I like the idea of the glasses, and I am a daily user of Xreal glasses, but that wristband is really impressive, and I would love to replace the mouse, and maybe even […] [Original post on noc.social]19 Sep 2025 00:55 +0000at://did:plc:ney7ec4f2c4cdsehaiz3n4xg/app.bsky.feed.post/3lz5nqb2i3m42https://bsky.app/profile/techviator.noc.social.ap.brid.gy/post/3lyvgzc3p7ch2After 6 years I finally decided to refresh my homelab from a single old, loud and inefficient Proxmox server, to 3 mini desktops in a cluster. My new setup will have 2 identical main nodes, and a smaller 3rd node for quorum and to run Proxmox Backup Server, probably will sync it to a cloud PBS […] https://noc.social/@techviator/11520974503995058715 Sep 2025 18:33 +0000at://did:plc:ney7ec4f2c4cdsehaiz3n4xg/app.bsky.feed.post/3lyvgzc3p7ch2https://bsky.app/profile/techviator.noc.social.ap.brid.gy/post/3lybrkdecm7z2Upgrade to Proxmox 9 complete without issues.
