Which makes sense but I think it contributes to the idea that Steinbeck isn't funny. He's so funny. East of Eden in particular is extremely funny at times. It's fine tho08 Oct 2026 16:46 +0000at://did:plc:o7f2hugmgowwjzhnnnujvrcs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mxevwid2w22hhttps://bsky.app/profile/halfpastmonsoon.bsky.social/post/3mx52worzs22aI was cautiously optimistic about the East of Eden series and so far I've been proven correct. I just finished episode 2 and I gotta say, I'm really, really enjoying what they're doing with Cathy. She's such a difficult character to get right and I think they may have pulled it off05 Oct 2026 13:54 +0000at://did:plc:o7f2hugmgowwjzhnnnujvrcs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mx52worzs22ahttps://bsky.app/profile/halfpastmonsoon.bsky.social/post/3mwbqc3celc2sarchiveofourown.org/works/93088571 archiveofourown.org/works/93197536 Happy labruversary https://archiveofourown.org/works/9308857124 Sep 2026 17:02 +0000at://did:plc:o7f2hugmgowwjzhnnnujvrcs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mwbqc3celc2shttps://bsky.app/profile/halfpastmonsoon.bsky.social/post/3mw3zkqmd6c2hI don't think t/b discourse would happen nearly as often if people understood that not tagging t/b is in itself a warning that the author doesn't want people who care about this shit enough for it to shatter their world to interact with their works and it is not for them in the first place22 Sep 2026 10:32 +0000at://did:plc:o7f2hugmgowwjzhnnnujvrcs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mw3zkqmd6c2hhttps://bsky.app/profile/halfpastmonsoon.bsky.social/post/3mvgaabnbq22garchiveofourown.org/works/92527906 I love you Kabru https://archiveofourown.org/works/9252790613 Sep 2026 18:33 +0000at://did:plc:o7f2hugmgowwjzhnnnujvrcs/app.bsky.feed.post/3mvgaabnbq22ghttps://bsky.app/profile/halfpastmonsoon.bsky.social/post/3lngbjbbg6223Luv #dungeonmeshi #labru22 Apr 2025 18:08 +0000at://did:plc:o7f2hugmgowwjzhnnnujvrcs/app.bsky.feed.post/3lngbjbbg6223https://bsky.app/profile/halfpastmonsoon.bsky.social/post/3lo4trir7mk2w"Sometimes, in my mind, I will wander into the mountains.
